EmPOWERING the Next Generation Workforce

WB Moore Company has taken the opportunity to join forces with Mr. Darren Ash, Founder of The ROC Charlotte and Ms. Margaret Thornton of Central Piedmont Community College, to inspire and educate skilled high school seniors who are currently participating in their Career & College to Pathways in Construction Technologies program. Seven students interested in continuing their training & establishing a career within the electrical industry were provided with an amazing opportunity to tour with Michael Atkinson, Project Manager of Dominion, one of our prestigious high-rise projects located in the heart of uptown Charlotte. The students gained real life industry exposure & learned more about the project life cycle & career pathing.

With a steady decline of electricians entering the industry, accredited programs that provide work-based learning opportunities for the next generation become of great value to the industry and amazing organizations like our very own, WB Moore Company. We are helping to ‘ignite the fire’ in these talented and eager students interested in establishing a thriving career in the electrical industry and are looking forward to a continued partnership to mentor & potentially employ these skilled students.
