Duke Wallace Wade Tower

The Wallace Wade Tower project is unusual in the fact that it is extremely high profile due to the regional and national television exposure it receives on a weekly basis during the Duke University football season. On the uppermost floor of this five-story tower is housed state-of-the-art broadcast equipment for television and radio broadcasts of all games played at Wallace Wade Stadium

Also, the building houses the following:
  • Twenty-two private luxury boxes.
  • A large dining area where all scholarship athletes eat their training meals. This area is also used for private functions like wedding receptions and corporate gatherings.
  • A full-size commercial kitchen to support the dining area.
  • An open concourse on the first floor features six concession areas along with four large restrooms.
  • Support areas on a lower level include electrical and mechanical rooms along with a second kitchen to support the concessions area.
  • Emergency power supplied by the Duke University emergency generator plant and our installation of a large, central UPS system assures that all broadcasts can proceed during a power outage.
  • Medical emergency facilities.
  • Rooftop camera platforms.
  • Panels and connections to all stadium lighting mounted on the roof.
